Cockpit Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cockpit: Live Flight Tracker mobile application (the “App”) published by Kovan Apps Yazılım Ltd. Şti. (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. No Affiliation

Cockpit is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA, NOAA, any airline, airport, air navigation service, aircraft operator or manufacturer, or by any of the data providers listed below. Names and logos of airlines and airports are shown for identification only.

2. Free and Pro

The live map, aircraft details, search and full airport cards (weather, NOTAMs, diagrams) are free. Cockpit Pro unlocks the events feed, the pilot message (ACARS) feed, alerts including plain-English rules, a Home region, live ATC audio with transcripts, pilot map layers, full AI explanations, widgets and Live Activities, and favourite aircraft and airport alerts.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

• Prices are shown in your local currency in the App; the price displayed at purchase applies. There is no free trial.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• To cancel on iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Cockpit. On Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cockpit. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Purchases can be restored on a new device with “Restore purchases” using the same Apple or Google account.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the App to track, follow, harass or interfere with any aircraft, crew, passenger or operation, or for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the App’s data, audio or backend, or circumvent its limits or security features.
• ATC audio is provided for personal listening only. Do not record or rebroadcast it in violation of the source’s terms or applicable law.

5. Data Sources and Attribution

Airport data: OurAirports (public domain). Map data: Apple MapKit / Google Maps, and © OpenStreetMap contributors where shown. AI explanations are generated with Anthropic Claude and transcripts with Deepgram; both are automated and can contain mistakes.

6. Availability

The service depends on third-party data and may be interrupted, delayed or changed. Features, including ATC audio, may be added, limited or removed, for example if a source changes its terms. We may discontinue the App with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the App’s content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to App Store downloads.

10. Changes

We may revise these Terms; the updated version applies from posting. Continued use means you accept them.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the courts of Ankara have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
