Cockpit Delete Your Data

Cockpit has no account. Your data is tied only to an anonymous ID created when you first open the App. You can delete it at any time.

Delete in the App (instant)

Open Cockpit → Settings → Data and privacy → Delete my data. This immediately removes your alert rules, followed flights, home region, Live Activities, feedback and devices from our servers and starts the App fresh with a new anonymous ID. Purchases stay with your App Store or Google Play account; Restore brings Pro back.

Delete without the App

Uninstalling removes everything stored on the device. Server-side data tied to an uninstalled app is deleted automatically 30 days after it stops receiving notifications. To have it deleted sooner, email info@kovanapps.com with the subject “Cockpit data deletion” and include your Support ID, shown in the App under Settings → Data and privacy. If you no longer have the App, tell us the approximate install date and platform and we will do our best to find it. We complete requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Home region, alert rules (including plain-English rules) and notification preferences
• Followed flights, favourite aircraft and airports
• Push token, Live Activity token, platform and time zone
• Our cached copy of your subscription status
• On request, analytics and crash data linked to your anonymous ID in Firebase

What is kept

• Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, as required to honour and restore purchases
• Public aviation data that is not about you (aircraft positions, events, NOTAMs, cleaned pilot message summaries)
• Analytics and crash data not covered by a request, which expire automatically (up to 90 days / 14 months in Firebase)
